The NBA Summer League semifinal field is set. After over a week-long stretch of continuous basketball, it's down to the final four to determine an unofficial offseason champion.

With it being an Olympic year, most of the NBA's biggest stars are away in Paris, France, getting ready for the Olympics, thus leaving the rookies and young veterans to pick up the puzzle pieces and learn how to win.

The semifinal matchups are a mix of the Eastern and Western conferences. The Clippers enter their game against the Grizzlies a perfect 4-0, thanks to the dominant play of Kobe Brown, a second-year guard who scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half to beat the Utah Jazz 105-88 and advance to the semifinals.

Although the Grizzlies beat the Pelicans 88-77, Zach Edey's ankle status is the overarching story. The ex-Purdue center returned Friday night, albeit briefly, citing ankle soreness. Since his latest exit, Edey has been ruled out for the remainder of summer league play.

Meanwhile, the other semifinal matchup pits the Warriors against the Heat. Like the Clippers, the Warriors have been perfect in Summer League action thus far, but it hasn't been easy. Pundits gave Golden State little hope entering the tournament, given that the teams of yesteryear, advancing to several NBA Finals over the past decade, will attempt to enter a new era with Klay Thompson's recent departure to Dallas.

In doing so, the Warriors are finding new ways to win, including winning without their three potential future stars – Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and Gui Santos. The Warriors knocked off the Thunder Friday night 93-80 thanks to role players getting the job done, including  Quinten Post, who scored 10 points in 14 minutes to give Golden State the needed momentum.

As for Miami, it also enters semifinal play unbeaten, having to play into the tournament before making a deep run of its own, which included a win against the Raptors, 109-73, to stay alive.

Which two teams will advance to the title game Monday night and close out summer on a high note? The Sporting News has all the important details, including start times, how to watch, tickets and more.
