The Dukes of Hazzard star, 64, married television personality Dee Dee Sorvino , on Tuesday in Las Vegas, according to a press release. The nuptials come after the couple both lost their spouses in the past two years.
"Just when we thought our happiest days were forever behind us …. WE HAPPENED!" John and Dee Dee said in the press release.

John married Alicia Allain in 2019. She died at age 53 on Feb. 21, 2023, following a battle with breast cancer. Shortly after, John mourned her death on Facebook and Instagram , writing, "My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus." He later posted a lengthier tribute , writing in part, "I've heard it said that 'with great love comes great sorrow.' I had no idea what that meant until now."

Dee Dee married Paul Sorvino in 2014. He died at age 83 on July 25, 2022, from natural causes. "Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage," Dee Dee said of the Goodfellas actor in a press release at the time.

This marriage is the fourth for John. In addition to Dee Dee and Allain, the actor was married to former Miss America and television personality Tawny Little from 1983 to 1986. Then he was married to actor Elly Castle from 1993 to 2019.
John has four estranged children . He is the biological father of Karis, whom he shares with ex-wife Castle. He and Castle also share daughters Mandy and Leah, and son Chasen, whom Castle has from a previous relationship. Dee Dee is the stepmother of Mira, Amanda and Michael, Paul's children with Lorraine Davis.

The surprise wedding took place at Vegas Weddings in the back of a white convertible that was once owned by Usher , according to the release. The newlyweds also plan to celebrate their marriage at a later date at The Hollywood Museum.
"Since John and Dee Dee met in person for the first time at The Hollywood Museum, I felt it would be appropriate that we host their official wedding celebration," The Hollywood Museum president and founder Donelle Dadigan said in the release. "We are looking forward to celebrating Dee Dee & John, and their love for each other."
