However, the early returns on the Bowers selection have oozed exceptional promise, with the All-American going bonkers during training camp activities on Friday.</p><h2>Las Vegas Raiders Tight End Brock Bowers: Impresses In Training Camp on Friday</h2><p>It’s still early, but the Las Vegas Raiders may have found this year’s version of Sam LaPorta in Brock Bowers. The Georgia product became an unstoppable force during the team’s 1-on-1 session on Friday, becoming a vacuum for footballs in the red zone. According to Logan Reever, Bowers caught three straight-back shoulder fades for touchdowns in the red area. Additionally, Bowers pinned the ball to the helmet for a circus-like catch while working in 1-on-1 drills. A four-star prospect in the class of 2021, Bowers ranked as the second overall tight-end recruit per 247Sports. Bowers shined as a true freshman, recording 56 receptions, 882 yards, and 13 touchdowns en route to a national title victory and SEC Freshman of the Year honors. Bowers won his first of two John Mackey Awards in 2022, snagging 63 passes for 942 yards and seven scores. Georgia won another title while Bowers became a first-team All-American.</p><p>Bowers returned for his third and final season with Georgia in 2023, catching 56 passes for 714 yards and six touchdowns in a career-low ten games.
