However, they can’t seem to make their marriage work. Now, Affleck is allegedly planning a “blowout” party at either his Georgia home or in Las Vegas once he and Lopez officially split.

According to several insiders, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez can’t make their marriage work. The couple fell in love in the early 2000s and went their separate ways after ending their engagement in 2004. While they fell back in love in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, they’re having issues again in 2024. Affleck and Lopez haven’t publicly spoken about their divorce, but photos show they haven’t seen each other in July 2024.

Affleck allegedly wants a massive celebration after he and Lopez officially split. “Ben just wants to get away from it all and enjoy himself again, and he wants to take his close friends with him,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “He’s talking about arranging a big blowout at his place in Georgia, which is pretty ironic since that’s where he and J. Lo had their big wedding.”

Affleck’s $8 million Georgia estate has three buildings: the “Big House,” the “Oyster House,” and the “Summer House.” The 6,000-square-foot Big House has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, the 10,000-square-foot Oyster House has five bedrooms, and the single-story Summer House is meant for outdoor fun.

The insider added that Affleck also talked about having his “big blowout” in Las Vegas. ” … [H]e still loves to play poker, and a lot of his friends do, too,” they continued. “No matter where he chooses to have this party, even if it’s somewhere that has no connection to his marriage, like Mexico, it’s going to be hurtful for J.Lo because this will be seen as him essentially celebrating escaping their relationship.”

What will Jennifer Lopez do after her divorce from Ben Affleck? While Affleck might plan to party, an insider told In Touch Weekly that Lopez intends to move to New York full-time.

“Even before things went totally south with Ben, she was pushing for a full-time move to New York, and now she’s decided to go ahead with that after the split,” the insider alleged.

“There’s nothing to stop her from taking the kids and making a fresh start back in New York,” the source continued. “They’ve got plenty of schools back east, and she’s got a great social circle there.”

Lopez has spent much of the summer in the Hamptons in New York. She celebrated her 55th birthday with a Bridgerton-themed bash at her Hamptons home. Affleck did not attend the party and stayed in Los Angeles.

But they wanted to give it one last go before walking away from this and are going back to the beginning by writing each other letters. This is what made them fall in love in the first place.”
