Three people hurt after shooting and stabbing at Las Vegas casino

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — Three people were seriously wounded after a shooting and stabbing early Saturday at a Las Vegas casino.
Police say two people were stabbed and one was shot inside Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa, which is 15 miles west of downtown Las Vegas. All three were transported to a nearby hospital, with two of them in critical condition.
A memo sent to Red Rock employees said the team was “shaken up” by the violence.
“We are grateful for the swift and decisive actions of our security team, which prevented a terrible incident from being much worse,” the memo went on to say. “The safety and security of our team members and guests is and will always be our highest priority. Our thoughts and prayers are with our affected team members—please join us in wishing them a quick and complete recovery.”
