Apply now for Chicago summer jobs and opportunities for teens and young adults

One Summer Chicago 2023 application portal is open but will close on June 2.

If you know a teen or young adult looking for summer jobs and opportunities, point them in the direction of One Summer Chicago(OSC) because they've just opened their application portal.

According to a press release, the program will continue to provide "in-person job and life-skills training for youth ages 14 to 24 throughout the summer. OSC is known for providing employment and career experience to teens and young adults in the Chicagoland area.

They're given access to hands-on experience in tech, healthcare, media, and more within private, public, and nonprofit businesses. Mayor Lori Lightfoot said the program offers young people a safe, professional way to earn money during summer break.

"Young people across the city deserve to engage in safe, inspiring activities as well as paid opportunities for the time when they are not in school," Lightfoot said. "One Summer Chicago invests in thousands of summer work experiences to support Chicago's youth, elevate their professional skills, and give them an opportunity to earn a paycheck. I'm proud to continue this program to empower our youth and prepare them for success."
