Violent crimes are defined in the UCR Program as those offenses that involve force or threat of force.Hate crime is a crime motivated by bias against race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity.There is a difference, and it has nothing to do with politics or opinion. If this hits home with you, then try to be a better person, not hide behind politics and closet racism with your wording.
