That timeline would carry the trial through most of August 2025.

MOSCOW — Bryan Kohberger’s jury trial is set for June 2, 2025, according to a scheduling order filed by Latah County District Judge John Judge on Thursday. The trial is expected to run until Aug. 29, 2025, but not during the federal holidays of June 19 or July 4.
31-Year-Old Clarkston Man Sentenced For Leading Latah County Sheriff’s Deputy on Car Chase Out of Troy
MOSCOW - A 31-year-old Clarkston man has been sentenced for leading a Latah County Sheriff’s Deputy on a dangerous vehicle pursuit out of Troy. Jonathan Owens was sentenced this week to probation for three years by Latah County Second District Court Judge John Judge. Owens previously pleaded guilty to felony eluding. He was arrested in January when he failed to pull over for a deputy while he was riding a dirt bike in Troy. Owens led the deputy on a chase on State Highway 8 at nearly 90 MPH before he drove into a field and was taken into custody. He spent 71 days in jail after his arrest.
