San Joaquin Co.: Investigation Underway For Weekend Homicide In Lathrop

The Lathrop Police Department is investigating a weekend homicide.

Officers responded early Sunday morning to a reported disturbance in the 300 block of Sunol Street.

A male, whose age was not released, was found with severe injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Police have arrested a suspect and said they don't believe there is a further threat to the community.

The identification of the person who died was not available.
