AMES, Iowa — Sondra Wilson claims that the state denied her Medicaid coverage for her gender reassignment surgery. Wilson doesn’t have a law degree, but is representing herself in this case. Search Warrants Lead to Drug Arrests in Fayette County
On July 19th, 2024, at approximately 8:00 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotic search warrant at 710 Mill St. in Clermont. As a result of the warrant Kobe Joseph Detra, 20 of Clermont was arrested and charged with Possession of controlled substance Marijuana 1st offense, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of child endangerment. Detra was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he awaited his initial appearance and was later released on an unsecured appearance bond. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
