I'm a waterfowl hunter that is properly licensed. I hunt many areas in the Clark County, Ohio area. We eat the game birds that we harvest and do not poach nor waste the birds that are taken. Hunting in the city limits is illegal. Golf courses are inundated with geese, and the state of Ohio permits a nuisance season for 10 days every September, in which 5 geese may be bagged by a hunter every day. I personally hunt Rocky Lakes Golf course every year legally and bag many geese. I am welcome to discourage geese from harming the course. The article written is obviously very politically motivated to say an old white man illegally killed geese and was not Haitian. The man who shot the geese did not have proper licenses and was properly fined for his violation. He should not have been compared to Haitians.
