School Resource Officers Attend Active Shooter Drill In Broward

With just a week to go until the start of school in Broward, the Sheriff's department is holding it's annual active shooter drill at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes. Spokesman Carey Codd says the School Resource Officers will confront the armed suspect and address the threat. The goal is the put the S-R-O's in a fluid environment to test their ability to adapt to an unfolding crisis where lives are at stake.
