Man gets life sentence for deadly shooting at illegal game room on Kapiolani Boulevard
HONOLULU (Island News) -- The man charged in connection to a 2022 game room shooting now sentenced to life in prison. Kawika Kanakanui was charged with murder in the second degree and firearms offenses. That's after he fatally shot 33-year-old Bryson Okada after a fight at an illegal game room on Kapiolani Boulevard.
