    Laurel quadruple homicide suspect will not be present at trial

    LINCOLN, Neb. (KCAU) — A Nebraska judge has granted a request by an accused quadruple murderer to not be present at his trial in September.

    The judge granted Jason Jones’ request on Monday. In a previous motion, Jones’ attorneys said he has burns on 40 to 49 percent of his body, on his back, and on his lower and upper extremities.

    Spirit Lake man pleads not guilty to attempted murder, theft

    The trial is scheduled to start on September 9th in Dakota County. Jones is facing several charges, including 4 counts of first-degree murder.
