EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso County is set to break ground on an airport hangar that was at the center of a disputed federal grant in May. El Paso County will break ground on the Fabens Airport Hangar Expansion on Tuesday, pushing forward a long-stagnant project that, in part, ended up pausing a $15 million grant that the University of Texas El Paso's Aerospace Center was supposed to receive from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Puppies abandoned at Odessa park found by Good Samaritan
ODESSA, Texas — Ten unweaned Chihuahua mix puppies were found abandoned at Casa Bella Park on Tuesday afternoon, according to Odessa Animal Control. The puppies, estimated to be about 20 days old and without teeth, include six males and four females. Dog Rescue R Us, a local rescue organization, is partnering with the Odessa Animal Shelter to provide care for the puppies.
