Davidson County deputies find wanted suspect hiding under a bed
DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson County Sheriff's Office arrested two people for a litany of charges, after finding one suspect under a bed. Deputies report that on June 11, they arrested Frankie Dale Hicks, of Lexington, and Dorcus Estelle Newton, of Denton, during a theft investigation on White Dove Drive in Lexington.

RALEIGH — The State Board of Elections has recognized the Constitution Party of North Carolina as an official political party in the state. Recognition of this party means voters now have another choice of party affiliation when registering to vote or updating an existing registration. Voters may register with the Constitution, Democratic, Green, Libertarian, No Labels, or Republican parties, or they can register as unaffiliated. Hickory Woman Charged By Alexander County Sheriff’s Office
A Hickory woman is facing charges following her arrest by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, July 14th. 49-year old Amberly Jean Punch is charged with felony larceny after breaking and entering.
