Baby boxes allow for the anonymous surrender of newborns within 14 days of birth. More than 200 Safe Haven baby boxes have been set up around the country in 16 states. Lawrenceburg’s box will be the seventh installed in Tennessee.

“We are thankful for our community and the donors that supported this project through the process. This is just another tool in our tool box to continue saving lives of those in our community and surrounding areas,” said Jay Moore, Lawrenceburg Fire Chief.
