THP trooper Adam Cothron, who was shot during a traffic stop on I-40 in Cookeville, has been transferred to a specialized medical facility in Atlanta according to Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter. On Facebook Mayor Porter wrote, “Adam, wife Gena and his whole family are so appreciative of your prayers and outpouring of support for them after this terrible tragedy.
