    Lawton police seeking information on recent homicide

    LAWTON ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Law enforcement officials in Lawton, Oklahoma, are seeking the aid of the community as they gather more information about a homicide that occurred over the weekend.

    According to a Facebook post from Crime Stoppers of Southwest Oklahoma , a homicide occurred in the area of 2910 SW J Avenue on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at around 11:20 a.m.

    Authorities did not release any details of the homicide. The identity of the victim and the manner of the victim’s death are unknown at this time.

    Officials are asking any residents of Lawton in the area of 2910 SW J Avenue that have cameras to review the video surveillance and provide them with any videos that may have captured the incident.
