LE MARS, Iowa (KCAU) — Thursday was day two of the Plymouth County Fair , also known as the “Best 5 Days of Summer.”

People got to watch a 4-H/FFA dairy cattle and dairy goat show at the livestock arena. There was also The Red Trouser Show and music from The Eagles Allstars, a tribute to the Eagles band. Claire Bell the cow was there as well to give out some hugs to fairgoers.

There are still plenty of things for people to do in the next couple of days.

“We do the Demo Derby on Friday night, then we do the Outlaw Tractor Pull series – those are huge tractors that come in,” Plymouth County Fair board member Candice Nash said. “And then we round it out with the figure 8 races Sunday night, and that’s all in our grandstand area. But again, we still have Pioneer Village with – I can’t even list all those off the top of my head. So many good bands, so many good singing acts, so many good different things going on in Pioneer Village. So check that out, and the food is always delightful.”

There are still three days to go visit the Plymouth County Fair. Fun fact: the county’s pork producers cook up to 7,000 pork chops during the five days of the fair!
