It was the remake of 'Miracle on 34th Street,' and I really don't remember too much about it. I know I had to borrow someone's navy blue pea coat, and I know that the original shoot was rescheduled because rain, so I got an extra $25 on my paycheck.

New Illinois Law Requires Weather Radios In Certain Homes

In the Chicago area alone last week, there were 33 tornadoes, compared to their usual 5 or 6 per year. With the derecho that moved through last week, 5 tornadoes rolled through the QCA. In Iowa, May was ridiculous. We average 11 tornadoes in May. But this year, we had over 80 tornadoes in May alone.

Festival To Celebrate Famous Illinois Movie Is Back
Illinois cinema fans are excited to celebrate one of the most famous movies ever filmed in our state. One of my favorite movies of all time was filmed right here in Illinois. It's the "Blues Brothers." My dad introduced it to me when I was younger and we watched it all the time. So much so, that my mom recorded over a copy we had on a VHS tape.
