TCU boys soccer closes out regular season with victory over Waseca

After defeating a solid Mound Westonka team Saturday 2-1, the Tri-City United boys soccer team traveled to Waseca Tuesday night to close out the regular season. The Titans once again earned a 2-1 victory to close out the regular season scheduled with a win and the best record of any class A team in the Big South Conference.

The team’s final regular season record is 10-4-2 (3-2-1 BSB), having earned second in the Big South Black division behind just the Class AA New Ulm Eagles, who finished their regular season with a record of 11-3-1.

Postseason play is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 7, with higher seeds hosting through the first three rounds before the section championship is played in Austin. Opponents and times of matches remain TBD.
