EAU CLAIRE — Jason Jon Anderson stepped down from his position as the Pablo Center at the Confluence's executive director effective Oct. 1.

"We recognize Jason's hard work, dedication and vision in leading Pablo Center to become a vital part of our community's cultural landscape," reads a news release from the Pablo Center at the Confluence. "His contributions have played an instrumental role in shaping who we are today, and we are deeply grateful for his leadership over the years."

Anderson had been involved in the Pablo since 2015. In late 2017, he was named interim executive director and earned the role on a permanent basis after a national search. The Pablo Center at the Confluence held its grand opening in the fall of 2018.

Specifics regarding the development weren't available, but the release added that, "we are excited to see him continue his advocacy work at the state and national level through the Wisconsin Independent Venue Association (WIVA) and NIVA (National Independent Venue Association)."

The Pablo's chief development officer, Monica Frederick, will serve as interim executive director while a national search is conducted to fill the post.
