Beloit shooting leaves one person injured, investigation underway
BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) - Beloit Police are looking into a shooting early Saturday morning that left one person in the hospital, the department said in a Facebook post. Baby dies in double fatal crash near Cle Elum
CLE ELUM – A 2-year-old child is dead after a single-vehicle crash on I-90 near Cle Elum early Saturday. Troopers report that the crash happened just east of Cle Elum at around 2:34 a.m. Authorities report that 44-year-old Jeffrey White of Kirkland, Illinois was going west on the interstate when he left the roadway, struck an embankment, than the canal wall and landed on his top. Jeffrey and a passenger died at the scene. The deceased passenger was identified as 2-year-old Maelynn White of Kirkland, Illinois. The other passenger injured in the crash is 5-year-old Jackson White of Kirkland, Illinois. The cause of the crash is unknown. Everyone was buckled up.
