All six already have lengthy tenures in DeSoto County Schools, and all have prior experience as either an assistant principal or principal.

Traffic stops lead to drug arrests by Union Police, Newton County S.O.
UNION, Miss. (WTOK) - A man was arrested early Monday at a safety checkpoint at the intersection of Hwy. 15 and Hwy. 492. Officials said 47-year-old Chad Neese was driving with a suspended license, and a search of his car turned up a vial of liquid fentanyl, a syringe of what is believed to be liquid methamphetamine and strips of suboxone.
