A hearing on that motion will be conducted, concurrent to the adjudication and dispositional hearing, on the August 7, 2024 at 1:00pm in Courtroom #3 of the Leavenworth County Justice Center located at 601 S 3rd St, in the city of Leavenworth, Kansas. NEK-CAP awarded Head Start grant
I am pleased to announce NEK-CAP, Inc., has been awarded the Early Head Start/Head Start grant for the next five years, renewable each year as a continuation grant. The grant application was fully funded and will be fully operational as proposed. Through the grant we will continue to provide high quality early childhood education and comprehensive services to children and families in nine northeast Kansas counties (Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Marshall, Nemaha and Pottawatomie). The Early Head Start home-based program will serve 120 children and/or prenatal mothers, and the Head Start center-based program will serve 195 children.
