The Lebanon City Police Department is looking for information from the public about a case in which a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle Thursday morning.

Police were dispatched at 10:03 a.m. to an accident at 9th Street and Chestnut Street for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. An initial investigation has determined the pedestrian was crossing 9th Street in the crosswalk westbound.

"The motor vehicle was making a left turn from Chestnut Street to travel north bound on 9th St(SR72)," police said in a statement. "The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition."

Police said no one else was injured in the incident. The pedestrian was not identified by police Thursday afternoon.

Anyone with information about this accident is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department through the department's CrimeWatch Page.
