WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Researchers at Purdue University want your thoughts on the recent electric vehicle charging testbed on U.S. 231. As we've reported, Purdue and the Indiana Department of Transportation recently installed wireless EV charges beneath the pavement of a small section of the highway to test technology that could wirelessly recharge cars as they drive.

Attorney General Todd Rokita is forging an alliance with counterparts in 17 states, taking a stance on what he views as the protection of religious liberty in the workplace. The case centers around John Kluge, a former Brownsburg High School teacher whose resignation was prompted by the school's demand he adhere to using the preferred pronouns of transgender students, a requirement conflicting with his personal beliefs. According to an official report from the State of Indiana, Rokita and the other attorneys general are urging the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to overrule a lower court's decision which held that accommodating Kluge's religious convictions posed an "undue hardship" for the school.

Fishers resident heads to Ironman World Championship
Fishers resident Kyle Gabbard has qualified to compete this fall in the annual Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The Ironman World Championship is a Hawaii-based competition that features “the very best male professional and age-group triathletes from around the world,” according to the organization.
