Anchorage Paramedic Drowns At Barren River Lake
A Louisville-area paramedic died while swimming at Barren River Lake on Monday afternoon. The man was identified as 35 year-old Christian Smith, from Louisville. Cody Fox with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife said a call came in around 3:25 p.m., and a man was later recovered in a cove near the state park.
Woman Dies After Hit By Multiple Cars On I-65
A 32-year-old woman was identified Monday as the person who died Friday morning after being hit by multiple vehicles on Interstate 65 North at Outer Loop. Louisville Metro Police officers responded around 11:40 a.m. to find a woman lying in the road beneath the Outer Loop overpass. Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said she was hit by multiple vehicles.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Fire Department partnered with a local boy to hang bat houses around the Greenwood Cemetery. Henry Pape led the service project to earn an Eagle Scout badge.
