The summer grassroots basketball season came to an end last weekend and some very talented girls teams came home with national championship trophies. The Napheesa Collier Elite 16U team won the Platinum Division title at the National Championships in Louisville, KY. This whiskey bottled by 15 Stars of Bardstown, Kentucky, was finished in three different barrels. There was a cognac barrel, a rum barrel and an apple brandy barrel used in the finishing of this whiskey. It is a marriage of eight and sixteen year old whiskeys. It makes for an interesting flavor. I received a bottle of this whiskey the other day and Matt and I sat down and tasted it.
