    Road construction, including bridge closure, scheduled in South Lebanon Township

    The South Lebanon Township Police Department announced that work will be done on multiple roads in South Lebanon Township in the coming days resulting a bridge closure as well as several one-lane traffic patterns.

    Friday, July 19

    The bridge at Birch Road and Short Road will be paved resulting in the roads being closed from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.

    Monday, July 22 - Tuesday, July 23

    East High Street, Herr Street, South 7th Avenue and Cloister Street will be paved. Due to the size of the streets, officials said that there will likely be no parking on these streets during paving, but are awaiting confirmation.

    Wednesday, July 24 - Thursday, July 25

    Walnut Street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street will be milled. Traffic will be down to one lane during work.

    Friday, July 26

    Scratch coat will be applied to Walnut Street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street. Traffic will be down to one lane.

    Monday, July 29

    Walnut street from South 5th Avenue to Cumberland Street will be paved. Traffic will be down to one lane.
