Lebanon City Police investigating Saturday stabbing incident on Church Street

The Lebanon City Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred in the 800 block of Church Street over the weekend in which the victim was stabbed multiple times.

Police responded to Good Samaritan Hospital for a report of an assault victim on Saturday, July 27 at approximately 8:50 p.m.

Upon arrival, police discovered that the victim had been stabbed several times. A preliminary investigation revealed that the assault occurred in the 800 block of Church Street.

The victim is in stable condition and is expected to recover, according to a news release.

The police investigation is ongoing, the Lebanon City Police Department is asking that anyone with information regarding the assault contact Detective Ayala or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
