The game of golf is alive and well in the state of Louisiana. According to golflink.com there are 140 golf courses in Louisiana. Eighty of those courses are public courses, another 30 are private courses, and still another 30 would qualify to be called municipal golf courses. Louisiana even has its own "Golf Trail".
Pine Prairie man arrested for attempted murder, arson
PINE PRAIRIE, La. (KPLC) - A Pine Prairie man is accused of setting a home fire with a family of six inside. Rusty Gautreaux, 33, was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail Thursday on six counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of aggravated arson, according to Louisiana State Fire Marshal Chief Bryan Adams.
