A Florida woman called 911 on herself during an attempted carjacking at a car dealership so she "could do it legally," according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Christy Turman , 37, was arrested and faces trespassing charges in relation to the incident. An audio clip of Turman's 911 call and video footage of her arrest at the dealership were shared by the Lee County Sheriff's Office in an episode of its Facebook Live series Live With LCSO , which aired on Wednesday (June 5).

“Because I’m trying to steal a car that’s not legally mine,” Turman told a dispatcher during the 911 call. “So, y’all better come make a report. I’m reporting this.”

Responding Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene and spotted Turman exiting the driver's side of a stolen Toyota Corolla. The suspect claimed that she was trained in a game of Black Ops to steal the car but contacted police in order to do so legally.

Turman's criminal history includes a variety of charges including petty theft, robbery and aggravated battery, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office. No additional details about Turman's arrest were shared by the department at the time of publication on Friday (June 7).
