A Mississippi man has been arrested after he reportedly attempted to entice a child and then used his vehicle to strike a utility vehicle occupied by the child’s father. Officials with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department report that on June 13, 2024, deputies responded to the Auburn Community for a reported aggravated assault incident.
Tupelo police charge men with separate grand larcenies
TUPELO — The Tupelo Police Department has charged a pair of Lee County men with grand larceny for separate crimes. On June 10, police served a capias warrant for grand larceny on Xavier D. Robinson, 30, of Highway 30 East, Baldwyn. This case is from a January incident where a woman said she left her purse in a shopping cart at the Tupelo North Gloster Walmart. The store’s security cameras showed Robinson, an employee, taking the purse and its contents a short time later.
Tupelo crash leads to felony DUI charge
TUPELO – A crash into a parked car earlier this month led to the felony DUI arrest for Lee County woman. Tupelo Police Department officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident June 1 on South Gloster Street near the North Mississippi Medical Center. When the responding officers located the driver, Rena Renee Mays, 56, of Privet Cove, Tupelo, they reportedly noticed signs of severe impairment.
