Sorting through all that is the Kansas City Chiefs receiving corps
One of the more remarkable aspects of the Kansas City Chiefs winning back-to-back Super Bowls is that the team hasn’t had a wide receiver reach the 1,000-yard mark since they traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins before the 2022 season. That year, JuJu Smith-Schuster, now with the New England Patriots, led the club with 933; last year it was Rashee Rice (938). After a tough 2023 season where he struggled to find his groove, Toney’s new role mixing wide receiver skills with running back duties shows the Chiefs are keen to use his speed and agility to their advantage. Coach Andy Reid is upbeat about Toney’s performance, highlighting how he could make a big impact if he keeps impressing in this dual role. While Isaiah Pacheco holds the top spot at running back, Toney’s versatility makes him an intriguing option, especially in PPR leagues where his ability to dodge tackles and catch passes could pay off.

"When a lot of players retire, they always say that they want to leave the game better than they started," Jones said Sunday, according to NFL.com's Michael Baca. "If we can get this three-peat and continue to adding legacy to the Kansas City Chiefs, I think that would be a huge accomplishment, not only for us but for the NFL."
