Weber State @ Washington (-27) Well, here we are again. After a tumultuous offseason, it’s time to put all of the speculation to rest and go out and hit somebody for a change! Now, there are a lot of questions about this team, and rightfully so. Some of them will be answered this week, I think, but others such as “will the o-line hold up?” and “how will the defense fare?” might be better suited for FBS competition. Thanks to my interview with Damon Huard, I have a small idea of what to expect from the offense: running the ball and plenty of the quick passing game. Just how effective that will be remains to be seen, but I think this game will tell us a lot about this offense, schematically speaking. It’ll be different, and we’ll have to get off to a fast start for me to be convinced that the O is for real.

Washington Terrace commission goes back to drawing board on urban chickens
WASHINGTON TERRACE, Weber County — The planning commission tabled an ordinance on Thursday that would have legalized urban chickens on larger properties in the city.
