Two Peanut Unescorted Combines blocked road traffic and broke power lines
LAKELAND, Lanier County, Georgia – Two peanut combines were traveling north to a Pearson farmer’s property without escorts for width and height on Saturday, August 24th. The combine operators as well as highway drivers found themselves in a dangerous — and potentially deadly — situation. While traveling north on the highway, the combines took out power lines at Highway-37 and Linda Street on Saturday evening.
