    Loudoun United’s unbeaten streak ends with 2-1 loss to Charleston Battery

    LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — Loudoun United FC hadn’t lost a game in United Soccer League action since May 14th. However, their 8-game unbeaten streak ended Wednesday with a 2-1 loss to Charleston Battery.

    Loudoun United found themselves down early as they gave up a goal in the 11th minute, and another in the 25th minute. Loudoun United would get on the board in the 79th minute when Zach Ryan connected on his 8th goal of the season.

    With the loss, Loudoun United’s record is now 7-5-7, with their next match Saturday on the road with Pittsburgh. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
