West suffers 24-21 loss to Clovis East (CA) at the hands of own mistakes
SALT LAKE CITY — West's first home game of the season brought on an onslaught of mistakes that end up costing the Panthers. From the start, West was unable to go anywhere on the first drive of the game. The ensuing punt was fumbled and recovered by visiting opponent Clovis East (California) on the Panthers' 8-yard line, which led to an early rushing touchdown on the first play of the drive.

Public closure of outdoor shooting range in Kaysville leaves hundreds confused
KAYSVILLE — A popular outdoor shooting range in Kaysville will close to the public on Sunday, and hundreds of users want to know why. The Wahsatch Shooters Association, which has managed the outdoor range for 30 years, announced its public closure on its website. The shooting range will only remain open for police training use.
