Reading-based CPA advisory firm Herbein + Company, Inc. has announced that it will open a new Greater Pittsburgh regional office located in Warrendale this fall.

Herbein will occupy approximately 11,000 square feet at 200 Allegheny Drive in Warrendale’s Thorn Hill Corporate Center.

The new Warrendale office will serve as the primary location for Herbein to support its Greater Pittsburgh client base.

Team members from Herbein’s Allison Park, and McCandless offices will relocate to Warrendale, and these locations will close in late October 2024.

Several team members from the Pittsburgh office will also relocate to Warrendale as well.

Herbein’s office in Greensburg will remain and is currently undergoing expansion. The Warrendale office is expected to be fully operational in November 2024.

As part of the firm’s strategic expansion plans, the firm is exploring options for a new office location south of the city, and expected to open by early 2025, to accommodate the remaining Pittsburgh office team members.

At that time, the firm’s downtown Pittsburgh office will close.

“Our new regional office in Warrendale represents a strategic investment in the future of Greater Pittsburgh and our firm,” said Herbein CEO David W. Stonesifer . “This move underscores our commitment to expanding our presence and fostering innovation in a thriving region. We look forward to the new opportunities this location will bring for our clients, our community, and our continued success.”

Herbein COO James A. Michalak is leading the Pittsburgh relocation effort.
