A new breakfast-and-lunch restaurant is set to open in Leland at 6 a.m. Monday. It’s the newest Eggs Up Grill location in the area and will open at 3556 Leland Town Center Drive. Here’s what you need to know, including how to enter a raffle for free breakfasts.
Brunswick brunch
This is the third Eggs Up Grill for franchise owners Brandon and Jennifer Padilla. Their first opened in 2020 in Shallotte, followed by the Southport location in 2022.
“As Leland residents ourselves, we are thrilled to open Monday and give local families a place to enjoy the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town,” said Jennifer Padilla in a press release. “We are appreciative of the tremendous support and can’t wait to begin serving up smiles to our neighbors.”
For the Leland location, they are also partnering with Mike Aquino, a family member who would often work in the restaurants. The new location is 3,000-square-feet with indoor seating for 118 and outdoor seating for 40. It will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, catering and delivery options available. Signature menu items include the founder’s recipe corned beef hash, classic breakfasts, made-to-order omelets, grilled blueberry muffins, croissant-style donuts and lunch selections like burgers, melts and salads.
Free breakfast
As a part of the opening festivities, 10 guests have a chance to win free breakfast for a year. Guests who stop by on Monday morning will be able to participate in a raffle. The giveaway will be good for one meal each month for the first year. The owners are also planning an official grand opening next month. That event will include family-friendly activities and more free breakfast giveaways.
