Man arrested in Rexburg for alleged rape of 17-year-old
REXBURG — A 21-year-old Rexburg man was arrested after a minor reported he had “forcibly” raped her. Garrett Scott Durrant was charged with felony rape of a victim who is 16 or 17 years old, and the perpetrator is three years or more older than the victim.

REXBURG—UPDATE: Madison County residents can use their water as normal again. Crews were able to fix the sewer overnight. The city released a statement at 7 a.m. saying, "Early this morning, our dedicated staff along with the crews of the contractor were able to locate and repair the broken section of sewer line. We thank everyone involved for their hard work and we thank the community for their patience and assistance. We hope you have a great weekend."
