LCFD Accepting Applications for Fire Cadets
The Las Cruces Fire Department is now accepting applications for its next training academy that’s set to begin in February 2025. The fire academy will begin Feb. 24, 2025. If enough qualified applicants are received, the pool of candidates may be used to fill a second fire academy that’s tentatively set to begin in July 2025. Each fire academy could have as many as 20 Fire Cadets in each class.
