A 19-year-old Mt. Vernon teen has been charged in Marion County Court with three counts of aggravated battery following an altercation at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Alana Schmidt of Richview Road was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a private security officer after allegedly pushing two security officers with her hand.
