Man charged with trafficking meth, 2 others arrested: Lenoir Police

LENOIR, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three people were arrested for various charges following an investigation into the sale and distribution of methamphetamines within the city limits of Lenior and Caldwell County.
Investigators with the City of Lenoir Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office ICE Unit and the NC State Bureau of Investigation concluded that Zachery George Stephenson, 28 of Lenoir was a distributor of methamphetamine within the community.
On July 16, investigators witnessed Stephenson driving a 2024 Chevrolet passenger car on Warren Place in Lenoir while having a suspended driver’s license.
Officers conducted a traffic stop, but as they began to approach the vehicle, Stephenson began to flee.
After driving a short distance, Stephenson crashed into a small utility trailer. Immediately after, Stephenson and two additional passengers in the vehicle fled on foot.
Following a short pursuit, Stephenson and the other passengers, identified as Devin Levi Johnson, 40 and Victoria Eden Hennessee, 35, were taken into custody without further incident.
A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in officers finding 411.2 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia and $1,626. The narcotics seized had a street value of $61,650 according to North Carolina Drug Guidelines.
Zachery George Stephenson was arrested and charged with the following:
Trafficking in methamphetamine by possession
Trafficking in methamphetamine by transportation
Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver
Maintain a vehicle for the sale of a controlled substance
Possessing drug paraphernalia
Resisting a public officer
Hit and run
Failure to report accident
Driving while license revoked
Reckless driving to endanger
Devin Levi Johnson was arrested and charged with two counts of felony probation violation and was issued a $4,500 secured bond.
Victoria Eden Hennessee was arrested and charged with resisting a public officer.
