CONCORD, Mass. – Loyola rising senior Jackson Roman qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship on Monday, tying for first in a final qualifier at Concord Country Club. Roman shot a bogey-free 5-under 65 on Monday on the 6,703-yard, par-70 course to tie Bryson Richards and James Imai for medalist honors at the qualifier. Ashland man dies after motorcycle collides with car at intersection in Holliston
HOLLISTON — An Ashland man died Sunday after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car, authorities said. Holliston police identified the man as Andrew Palumbo, 62. According to a press release from police, Palumbo was riding the motorcycle at about 7:48 p.m. when it collided with a car near the intersection of Prentice and Mill streets.
