David’s Morning Forecast - Spotty showers, a cooler Saturday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Scattered heavy downpours overnight decreased to a few spotty showers by early Saturday. Those showers mainly over portions of western Iowa, just to the east of the Omaha metro. A few spotty showers will continue through the morning hours, though coverage should continue to decrease. Cloudy skies remain over the metro, though there have been a few breaks in the clouds out toward Lincoln. Generally cloudy skies will likely stick around for most of the day, though any rain that lingers should be spotty and on the light side. Generally dry conditions are expected for most of the day outside of those spotty showers. The clouds and spotty showers will help to keep things quite mild for July, with afternoon highs only topping out in the mid-70s, more than 10 degrees below average for mid-July.
