JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) The demolition of the former Jefferson City News Tribune building at 210 Monroe Street is complete. SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. — An owner of Chic's N Dix HonkyTonk & Saloon unexpectedly passed away at the establishment Wednesday afternoon. Sunrise Beach police officers responded to a medical call at 3:33 p.m., July 24, and found 56-year-old Rick Griffin unconscious inside the building. Unfortunately, he died on scene. Former Chiefs lineman Isaiah Buggs sentenced to hard labor in Alabama on animal cruelty charges
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs has been convicted on two counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Tuscaloosa County District Judge Joanne Jannik sentenced Buggs on July 19 to a year of hard labor, ordering him to serve 60 days. The rest would be suspended for two years “pending the behavior of the defendant.”
