Charges upgraded for teen driver in Horace crash
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - An 18-year-old woman from Horace now faces a felony criminal vehicular injury charge after a crash that left several people hurt. North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 13. They say McKenzie Moser, 18, crossed the centerline while on Co. Rd. 17 and struck a vehicle being driven by an unidentified 16-year-old girl.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The former mayor of Grand Forks, Pat Owens, reportedly died Tuesday, July 23rd in Rochester, Minnesota. Owens was 83 years old. Prior to serving as mayor of Grand Forks, Owens was a long-time city employee. She worked for the city for 33 years, from May of 1963 until the time she was elected mayor in 1996. She led the city through its recovery during the historic flood of 1997.
